NivoDesk Pro / Support
Planned module · illustrative sample dataSupport, with context and clear escalation.
A planned support approach: start from the customer's real question, keep answers separate from commitments and make every handoff visible before thinking about speed.
Concept page. No live tool, account or contact intake is offered.
How it works
Understand, answer, escalate, hand over
Each step keeps the conversation's purpose intact across people and time.
- Step 1
Understand the question
What the person needs to understand or resolve.
- Step 2
Use checked information
Know where answers come from and how current they are.
- Step 3
Spot commitments
Exceptions, refunds and changes go to a responsible person.
- Step 4
Name the next owner
Unresolved questions stay visible.
01 · Question
Begin with the customer's actual question
A support conversation can lose its purpose when it is categorised too quickly. Start by identifying what the person needs to understand or resolve, then determine which business information is relevant.
When comparing customer support software, consider how a question would remain understandable across a handoff. The next person should not need to guess which part has already been answered or ask for unnecessary personal details.
02 · Commitment
Distinguish an answer from a commitment
Explaining an existing policy is different from agreeing to an exception, refund or service change. A proposed support workflow should help a responsible person recognise that difference.
Ask where information would come from, how its currency would be checked and when uncertainty would require human attention. A fluent response is not proof that its content is correct or authorised.
Answer
- Explains existing policy
- From a checked source
- Can be drafted with help
Commitment
- Exception, refund or change
- Needs an authorised person
- Reviewed before sending
03 · Handoff
Evaluate the handoff before automation
A useful support process names the owner of the next action and makes unresolved questions visible. Compare that arrangement before assuming that faster replies will solve the problem.
| Case | Next owner | Open question | State |
|---|---|---|---|
| Example #A | Example team lead | Refund eligibility | Escalated |
| Example #B | Example agent | None | Resolved |
| Example #C | Example ops | Delivery date | Waiting |
